Police in Los Angeles have conducted what they believe is this largest illegal cockfighting ring bust in US history after recovering more than 7,000 fowls from a property in Val Verde.A search warrant involving 100 police officers as well as animal welfare experts took place on a rural 80-acre property following a month long investigation.As well as thousands of birds officers also recovered several mobile fighting rings, razors hooks known as gaffs which are attached to the roosters claws, medications and other items indicative of illegal cock fighting. In an unexpected turn of events on Tuesday (May 16), following a vital meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Donald Trump in Washington, two groups of protesters clashed outside the Turkish embassy. Altercations broke out between pro-Erdogan and Kurdish supporters outside the Turkish ambassadors official residence in the US capital. The two groups were carrying their respective flags and placards, shouting slogans outside the embassy. Footage from the Armenian National Committee of America showed policemen trying to intervene and stop the violence.
