Patna, May 19 (ANI): The political drama in Bihar that began after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar offered his resignation on Saturday continues to unfold with new twists and turns even on Monday. The Janata Dal United legislature is meeting today to discuss the ongoing situation after Nitish said that he would re-think his decision after a majority of JD (U) MLAs unanimously wanted him back at the helm of the state. However, JDU chief Sharad Yadav has said that the decision of Nitish quitting is final. Two Maoists injured in fierce gun battle with police in Jharkhand

Ramgarh, May 19 (ANI): A fierce encounter with police personnel injured two Maoists in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. Superintendent of Police Ranjit Kumar Prasad said the team got the success in countering the rebels. Maoists, also known as Naxals, have killed police and politicians, and targeted government buildings and railway tracks in an insurgency that has killed thousands since the 1960s.
