Iran nuclear deal: Javad Zarif says sanctions on will be lifted on 16 January

International sanctions on Iran will be lifted on 16 January, when the United Nations nuclear agency declares Tehran has complied with an agreement to scale back its nuclear programme, Irans foreign minister said. EU reform: Philip Hammond says Britain and Europe good for each other

British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said on 14 January that an economically turbo-charged European Union would be beneficial for both Britain and the EU as the British government pushes for EU reforms before its citizens vote in a EU membership referendum.
