Authorities send home 11 Bangladeshi boys lured to India by better job prospects

South Dinajpur, Aug 27 (ANI): Eleven Bangladeshi boys who came to India in search of better job prospects were sent back to their home country by the immigration department of West Bengal. The children who illegally entered the Indian territory recently were later arrested by police officials of South Dinajpur district of the state. A non government organisation (NGO), Child Line, rescued the children. Family performs last rites of martyr Dhananjay Kumar in Bihar

Maner, Aug 27 (ANI): The last rites of Martyr Lance Naik Dhananjay Kumar took place at his hometown in Maner district of Bihar with full respect on Wednesday. Kumar was killed in an encounter with militants in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir and his body reached Patna late on Tuesday. Mourning on his death, his father said that he is not grieved on his son's death and that Kumar was son of Mother India. He also appeled the central government to take revenge from Pakistan. Politicos react as report blames former UPA govt for coal scam

New Delhi/Lucknow, Aug 27 (ANI): A follow up report by Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India dealing with illegalities in coal scam got mixed reviews from politicians on Wednesday as it blamed the previous UPA government for tampering with the recommendations made by a screening committee in 2007 for allocation of coal blocks. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that for sixteen long years there were many Prime Ministers who allocated coal blocks, seeing that only a certain individual cannot be blamed. BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that Manmohan Singh's government will be accountable for the mistakes it has made for coming ten years as well. BEL and HAVELLS were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 20.00% and 8.60% along with TORRENT POWER LTD. and JAIN IRRIGATION SYSTEMS LTD. with an increase of 6.96% and 6.03% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include UCO BANK and BHUSHAN STEEL LTD. with a decrease of 7.98% and 4.99% along with DLF and ADANIPORTS with a decrease of 4.33% and 3.32% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 132.99 points at 17,243.95 while the banking sector is up 90.87 points at 17,986.64 and the reality sector is down 24.69 points at 1,760.34.
