Police arrest prime accused in kidnapping bid of Aurobindo Pharma's boss

Hyderabad, Nov 22 (ANI): Police arrested the prime accused in the shooting and kidnapping bid of generic drugmaker Aurobindo Pharma's vice president K Nityananda Reddy. Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy said that accused main motive was to extort money using fire arm. Aurobindo Pharma director and vice chairman K Nityananda Reddy was attacked by an unidentified man in the posh Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad on November 18. The accused has been identified as Obulesu, who joined as a constable in 1998. Obulesu armed with an AK-47 tried to kidnap Reddy from his car. Nov 22, 2014

Karachi, Nov 22 (ANI): Pakistan maritime authorities arrested sixty one Indian fishermen and took into custody their eleven boats for illegal fishing in the country's territorial waters. The fishermen, who were arrested on November 20, had been handed over to Docks Police Station in Karachi for necessary legal action. The arrested fishermen have been charged under Foreign Act and Fisheries Act. Fishermen from both the countries frequently stray into each other territory and end up spending years in their jails. Obama was invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will be the first U.S. president to attend a Republic Day celebration, which marks the enactment of India's constitution on January 26, 1950.
