Haryana Police arrests Rampal's brother from Satlok Ashram

Barwala, Nov 19 (ANI): Haryana Police on Wednesday arrested Rampal's brother Purshottam Das from Satlok Ashram. According to the media reports, Das has been taken by the police for interrogation. He was arrested while he was reportedly trying to flee from the ashram. Earlier in the day, dead bodies of four women were recovered from Rampal's ashram and sent to hospital for postmortem. Rampal's supporters had opened fire on police personnel on Tuesday as they moved ahead to arrest him from his ashram in Hisar. New Delhi/Hisar, Nov 19 (ANI): Media persons condemned the assault on them on Wednesday after some media persons were attacked by police during clashes with the Rampal's supporters on Tuesday. The incident occurred after followers of Rampal opened fire at police personnel standing on guard outside the hermitage, thus forcing police to resort to baton charge and firing, leaving many injured and two police personnel getting shot.
