Modi said that he was born and brought up in a poor family so he knows the pain of poor. Modi, while praising Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s peaceful state division policy, condemned Congress for dividing Andhra Pradesh violently. EC orders West Bengal police to arrest TMC workers for attacking poll personnel

New Delhi, April 11 (ANI): The Election Commission on Friday directed the West Bengal Director General of Police to immediately arrest all persons named in an FIR for beating up poll personnel in the state and send the compliance report by evening. Apart from those named in the FIR, the EC has also ordered the arrest of the organiser of the motor bike rally during which the incident occurred. The attack reportedly occurred when the officials tried to stop a two-wheeler rally of the TMC as such rallies have been banned by the poll panel. They also allegedly damaged a video camera when the officials were trying to take pictures of the rally. Apr 11, 2014

New Delhi/Amritsar, April 11 (ANI): Congress Party stirred a fresh controversy by putting BJP's former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's picture on its official website and using his statement to divert voters against Narendra Modi. Vajpayee's photo was published on Congress website with a caption that read: "Atal had said Modi did not follow Raj Dharma.
