Muslim Cleric urges UN to take immediate action against Israeli attacks in Gaza

Lucknow, July 15 (ANI): India_s Shi_ite Cleric Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi urged United Nations to take quick action against the Israel airstrikes on Gaza. He termed the attack as most cruel in the history and added that the bloodshed should stop immediately. Jawad Naqvi further requested the Indian government to change its policies towards Israel. The Israeli military continue their strikes in Gaza, in the worst flare-up in Israeli-Palestinian violence in almost two years.

Ramdev aide and senior journalist Vaidik has been facing criticism from the opposition after his recent meeting with 26/11 terrorist mastermind Hafiz Saeed in Lahore. BJP says wide stakeholder consultations needed for implementation of UCC, politicos react

New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday reacted over Law Minster Ravi Shankar Prasad___s written reply to the Lok Sabha that wide consultations with stakeholders will be required before taking any further steps on the issue of uniform civil code. SC wants govt to revisit juvenile law, politicos react

New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): After Union women and child development minister Maneka Gandhi, it is the Supreme Court that has called for a more stringent Juvenile Justice Act. Questioning the immunity enjoyed by the under-age offenders, SC has asked the government to re-visit the law and make necessary changes.
