New Delhi, Oct 17(ANI): Politicos reacted on Friday after Congress slammed Central government for adopting 'step-motherly approach' towards the cyclone victims in Odisha. BJP leader Nalin Kohli claiming the allegations as false said that the centre along with the state government has carried out rescue operations in the flood hit-areas and ensured that relief reaches to every victim of cyclone Hudhud in time. However, NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that the relief didn't reach the victims in time and it shows that state and central government failed in carrying out successful relief operations in the flood hit-areas. PM Modi meets top military officers at Combined Commanders' Conference

New Delhi, Oct 17 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met top military officers at the defence ministry War Room at a time when tension continues along the border with both China and Pakistan. The Combined Commanders' Conference is the first meeting of the prime minister with all top commanders, including the three service chiefs. The three service chiefs are expected to give elaborate presentations to the prime minister on the security scenario. The Indian Air Force chief, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, will make the first presentation, followed by the Indian Navy Chief Admiral RK Dhowan and the Indian Army Chief General Dalbir Singh. The prime minister and Defence Minister Arun Jaitley will address the conference.
