Congress replies back to BJP, says will make sure Modi doesn't fool people anymore

New Delhi, Oct 05 (ANI): Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Sunday replies back to BJP's criticism and questioned if the biggest remote control these days is in Nagpur. Singhvi said that as a responsible opposition party, Congress will try its best to make sure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not fool people anymore. Singhvi also alleged that the key reforms undertaken by the BJP government were introduced by the previous UPA government and that BJP adopted those policies without even giving credit to Congress. Suspect in MP stripped and dragged to court, Congress demands explanation

Martyr killed in Kashmir blast laid to rest with military honours

Poonch, Oct 05 (ANI): As the soldier who died in a blast in Kashmir was laid to rest with full military honours on Sunday, senior officials of the Indian Army attending the funeral promised stern action against Pakistan. An improvised explosive device (IED) triggered by militants near the Line of Control (LoC) at the Balnoi battalion in Poonch district of Kashmir on Saturday killed one soldier and injured another. Both the soldiers were on patrol along the LoC in Balnoi sector when the IED blast injured both of them wherein soldier Akshaya Godbole succumbed to his injuries while Shubam Khadatkar was taken to hospital for treatment. Brigadier Neeraj Vasney of 16 Corps said the Indian troops were giving a fitting reply to the constant firing and ceasefire violation from Pakistan's side that has been going on for the past three days in Poonch sector.

Lone tiger cub nursed by female dog in Indore zoo

Indore, Oct 5 (ANI): A lone tiger cub, which escaped death after her mother accidentally jabbed her teeth into its body, is now being given special care by the zoo authorities in Madhya Pradesh and being fed milk by a female dog after it was separated from the mother. Shivani, a white tigress at the zoo in Indore city, had given birth to four cubs last month after cross breeding with a yellow tiger, first such case in the country. However, three cubs died due to mishandling by the big cat. Meanwhile, Uttam Yadav, doctor at the zoo, said they did not want to send the lone surviving tiger cub to the mother as they feared that it might also be killed. In order to provide milk to the tiger cub, the zoo authorities carried on a small experiment where the tiger cub could be nursed by a female dog. Yadav said the dog named Jimmy now considers the tiger cub as her own child.
