He added that since the PM has served as a Chief Minister, hence, his heart will be with the CMs in dealing with Central government and Planning Commission. Kochi, Dec 07 (ANI): Visitors made a beeline towards the makeshift tents of the 11th edition of the annual 'Kerala Bamboo Fest' which displayed artisans' innovativeness while propagating the use of the 'green wood' in Kochi. Craftsmen from various Indian states arrived in the five-day bamboo festival to propagate the use of bamboo and bamboo-made products in order to spread awareness regarding the use of eco friendly products in daily life. Managing Director of Kerala State Bamboo Co-operation, T Sukumaran Nair, said that the fest aims to make eco-friendly things and prevent deforestation. The annual event is being organised by the Kerala State Bamboo Mission. 50,000 proud Chennai residents create Guinness world record of largest human national flag

Chennai, Dec 07 (ANI): The 50,000 proud residents of Chennai on Sunday succeeded in forming the largest human national flag as they made their way to the Guinness Book of World Records. People from all walks of life assembled holding placards of different colours - saffron, white and green to form the Indian national flag. One of the participants in the record attempt, Vatrivel, said he felt proud of the attempt. Another participant, Ekta said she felt proud as an Indian after the successful attempt. The officials of the Guinness world record limited will adjudicate the details of the attempt and will announce the record later in the day. The record was organised by the Rotary Club International. New Delhi, Dec 07 (ANI): Political leaders on Sunday demanded action against the Uber taxi service driver who allegedly raped a woman who was returning from a dinner party in Gurgaon on Friday night. Congress leader Rashid Alvi also condemned the incident and demanded action on the same.
