J and K floods: Politicos slam Yasin Malik for disrupting Army's rescue operation

New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): At a time when Jammu and Kashmir is battling the worst floods in nearly six decades, and the Centre and the state government are trying their best to provide relief to the flood-hit victims, separatist leaders are creating huge problems in rescue operations and distribution of relief materials. A video of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik surfaced on Monday in which he allegedly asked voluntary relief workers not to distribute food items, as only JKLF can operate in that particular area. Malik and his team later looted the relief materials and boats of aid workers and started distributing the items among the victims. The inhuman act of separatists is not limited to distribution of relief materials but they also threatened patients to avoid Army assistance despite strong protests by the locals. Delhi HC rejects PIL seeking CBI probe in Robert Vadra land deals

New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): A Delhi High Court on Tuesday dismissed a PIL seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation probe in the land deals of Robert Vadra. A PIL was filed seeking probe into the sale of agriculture land to Vadra's companies. The petitioner was seeking a probe by the CBI under charges of cheating, forgery, criminal conspiracy and Prevention of Corruption Act. He claimed that this is a scam worth Rs 20,000 crore. New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Tuesday returned the Dadri land to the farmers, which was taken by the UP government citing public purpose, but was given to Reliance for personal use. The court also convicted the UP government of misusing the land acquisition power in the process. Vietnam, Sep 16 (ANI): Invoking "common heritage" with Vietnam, Indian President Pranab Mukherjee gifted an offshoot of the holy 'Bodhi' tree to Vietnam counterpart Truong T?n Sang and planted it in Vietnam's Presidential palace after the two leaders finished delegation-level talks and signed seven pacts. The sapling was carried in a small wooden box as a gift to the country and people of Vietnam. It was procured from the Bodh Gaya Temple Management Committee (BTMC) a few days back.
