New Delhi, Feb 4 (ANI): Politicos on Wednesday reacted on reports that JD (U) MLAs want the former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi to return to the top post replacing Nitish Kumar. According to sources, party MLAs feel that Manjhi will be unable to convey the party's achievements in Bihar for the state elections scheduled in 2015. Heavy snowfall disrupts normal life in Kashmir

Ramban/ Shimla, Feb 04 (ANI): Heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir hit electricity, water and blocked national highway, disrupting normal life. Roads in Ramban area were filled with snow making it difficult for vehicles to ply due to which people had to walk long distances carrying their luggage. National Highway-44 was completely blocked, restricting transportation. State's capital city, Srinagar, on Sunday (February 01) had received season's first snowfall bringing cheers to residents. However, snowfall did not bring much delight to residents of Ramban district. As per local media reports, the weather department has predicted snowfall for next three days. The minimum temperature recorded was minus 0.2 degree Celsius. Reportedly, an avalanche warning has also been issued in higher reaches of the valley. Meanwhile, hill town of Shimla also received three to 90 centimeters of fresh snowfall. Minimum temperature recorded was two degree Celsius. Fur shoes also help keep feet warm while trekking on snow covered roads and mountains. These shoes are not only warm but comfortable also because of the fur used inside it. Agartala, Feb 04 (ANI): India, Bangladesh joint district-level border conference to resolve trans-border issues kicked off in Tripura. A wide range of issues like smuggling, trans-border crime, insurgent movement, narcotics, human trafficking was discussed between officials of both the countries. Both the sides expressed satisfaction and said dialogue not only helps in mutually sorting disputes at grass-root level but also helps in confidence building between the nations. Officials of both sides maintained that frequent dialogue should take place at regular intervals as it helps in better coordination and improving ties. Issues related to four districts of Bangladesh and Tripura would be tabled on last day of two-day talks. Similar conferences would also be held in Assam and Meghalaya to sort out border issues.
