Rajkot, Feb 11 (ANI): People of Rajkot city thronged a temple dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The temple in Kothariya village is drawing supporters of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from neighbouring villages also. It took around two years to build the temple and initially had a photograph of Modi. It rose to prominence after Modis win in general elections last year. Ramesh Undhad, who donated funds for temple building, said it took nearly four years to get Modis idol made. Undhad added that fans considered Modi as second Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of Indias most looked-up statesmen. New Delhi, Feb 11 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi on Wednesday briefed about summon to AAP leader Naresh Balyan in illegal liquor seizure case and about Sunanda Pushkar murder case. Bassi said that Balyan had asked not to summon him till elections so he will now be summoned and enquired. He added that if Balyan still does not turn up legal course of action shall be taken against him. Textile industry expects tax cuts in upcoming budget

Surat, Feb 11 (ANI): Manufacturers in textile industry in Gujarat expect tax cuts from the Central government in upcoming budget to help the industry come out of crisis. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will on February 28 present his first full-year budget, seeking to put Asia's third-largest economy on a path of 7-8 percent growth over the next two years. In Surat, industrialists said they were facing crisis due to rise in prices of raw materials like yarn and colour chemicals. A favourable budget will being relief for one-and-a-half million people associated with the industry, he added. Vakharia also hoped for relaxation in prices of acquiring land.
