Senior police officer Jacob Thomas, who was shifted to various departments following revelations regarding the bar bribery scam in Kerala, has sparked another row with a new Facebook post.

The Director General of Police (DGP) posted on Facebook that he was "swimming with sharks without being eaten", hinting at bureaucrats and politicians responsible for his frequent transfer across various departments.

Earlier, it was speculated that the police officer might quit his job after he came up with another Facebook post saying: "Whether to live for a job, or live for justice".

The DGP, who is currently working as the Police Housing & Construction Corporation MD, was earlier transferred to the Kerala Fire & Rescue Forces after being moved from the Vigilance Department.

The Facebook post by the police officer, 'Swimming with the sharks without being eaten', has received over 2,000 likes and about 400 shares.

Thomas had earlier welcomed the Kerala High Court's decision to quash the Vigilance Department's clean chit to former finance minister K M Mani in the bar bribery case, for which he was sent a show-cause notice by Chief Secretary Gigi Thompson.
