New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari defending the BJP government's land acquisition ordinance called it "farmer friendly" and said that the government is "open minded" for any suggestions. He said that the government will not make any compromise on compensation and rehabilitation of farmers. The plant, launched in November 2013, has a power output of 70 megawatts and is constructed in an area of 1.27 million square meters. Nanatsujima is close to the active volcano Sakurajima, but the solar panels here are installed in a safe area. The plant coexists with natural conditions utilizing advanced technology. New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav stepped down from his post after he was named in the multi-crore Vyapam scam in the state. Reportedly, Yadav was asked to resign by the Home Ministry after he was named in a police complaint in connection with the Vyapam scam involving politicians and government officials. He was booked for corruption, misuse of his official position and cheating. The Special Task Force, which is probing the scam, reportedly needs presidential sanction to chargesheet him. The scam involves the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board or Vyapam, which holds the exams for positions like medical officers, constables, teachers and auditors for government departments.
