The authorities have made sure that all hospitals, including the PHC at Wusan in Ganderbal district, are ready to face the situation. Doctors are on alert and outpatient facilities have been doubled. The state government has started to restore the old market, which was a long pending demand of the people of Poonch. The government has allotted rupees one crore and ten lakhs, and restoration work is going on at war footing. Although the state govt. claims to have improved the education infrastructure in rural areas of the state, but there is still lot more to be done.
