Politicians slam memoirs of former lawmaker Pappu Yadav

New Delhi, Nov 27 (ANI): An autobiography “Drohkaal ka Pathik written by former Bihar MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav has drawn flak from country’s leaders for making sensational claims that three other lawmakers of his party received money to join the then central ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in 2001. Yadav alleged that three leaders of his Indian Federal Democratic Party got money courtesy then finance minister, Yashwant Sinha, to join the BJP-led NDA. According to media reports, Sinha denied the allegations and refused to comment on them. In his book he also alleged that during the July 2008 trust vote, both the Congress and BJP had offered Rs. 40 crore each to lawmakers for their support. Meanwhile, senior JD-U leader K. C. Meanwhile politicos and legal adviser have lashed out at Tarun Tejpal, who is accused of molesting a fellow journalist, for politicizing the entire sex scandal on Wednesday. In a matter of days, Tejpal switched his statements about the scandal. He had earlier apologized for the act and then switched to saying that the accusations were false. He also blamed the BJP for hatching the conspiracy. Deputy Chief Minister of Goa Francis D’Souza ridiculed Tejpal and said that the matter doesn’t have to do with any political party.
