UP Police fails to arrest Subrata Roy, police returns from his residence

Lucknow, Feb 27 (ANI): A team of UP Police on Thursday returned without arresting Sahara chief Subrata Roy despite a non-bailable arrest warrant against him. According to the police, Subrata Roy is not at his residence in Lucknow. The police had arrived there after the NBW was issued against him for failing to appear before the Supreme court in a contempt case arising out of non refund of Rs 20,000 crore to investors by two of his companies. The Sahara Chief has meanwhile, moved to SC seeking cancellation of the NBW and undertook to appear before it on March 4. Feb 27, 2014
