Textile Minister Gangwar slams SP govt for poor law and order situation in UP

Violations along LoC must stop: Arun Jaitley

Srinagar, June 15 (ANI): Defence Minister Arun Jaitley, who is currently on a two-day visit to Srinagar, on Sunday said that violations along the Line of Control or LoC must stop and that in itself was a 'Confidence Building Measure'. New technology designed to carry out rescue operations in Mandi

Mandi, June 15 (ANI): Engineers from southern India have devised two new technologies, SONAR and LIDAR, to carry out further search operations of the missing students who drowned in Beas River of Himachal Pradesh. 24 engineering students of a private engineering college of Hyderabad were swept away when the waters of river Beas suddenly spiked dangerously high following a release from the reservoir of 126 MW Larji hydropower project on June 08. Congress continues protest over power and water crisis

Bhutan flight makes emergency landing at Kolkata airport

Kolkata, June 15 (ANI): A Royal Bhutan Airlines flight whose windshield cracked during its journey from Paro to Mumbai was forced to make an emergency landing in Kolkata on Sunday. All the passengers and crew members on board are said to be safe. The captain of the flight sought permission of the ATC for emergency landing as the aircraft suffered windshield crack during the flight, said an official at NSC Bose International Airport.
