Hope situation in Assam comes under control, security deployed: BPF

Guwahati, May 03 (ANI): Reacting on killings in Kokrajhar and other districts of Assam by the suspected Bodo militants, Bodo People Front (BPF) MP Biswajit Daimary on Saturday said that the incident is unfortunate and hoped that the situation comes under control soon. Karachi, May 03 (ANI): Pakistan's biggest city Karachi came to a standstill on Friday after Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) called for a day of mourning after four bodies were recovered from the city three days earlier were identified as those of its activists. MQM said all four workers were picked up on April 13 by the law-enforcement personnel from Gulshan-e-Maymar area in the city. The paramilitary Rangers and police, who are currently conducting a joint operation in Karachi against the criminals, deny the allegations. Explosive devices concealed under seats went off in two coaches shortly after the train stopped at Chennai central station at about 7:00 AM. Inspector General of Crime Investigation Department of India, Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, addressed a news conference and said there were similarities between the twin blasts in Chennai and the serial blasts in Patna city which targeted Modi's rally.
