Student creates shoe that charges phone while walking

Nainital, Mar 20 (ANI): A student of class 12 in hill town of Nainital, Rajesh Adhikari, has created a shoe that can now even charge a mobile phone. This means that no matter where you are, wearing these shoes gives one a reason to get up and walk. Adhikari said that the idea of making such a waterproof charger struck when it snowed heavily in Nainital and many people, including him, had to suffer due to power shutdown in the city. Mumbai Shakti Mills Gang rape case: Four accused found guilty

Mumbai, Mar 20 (ANI): A sessions court in Mumbai has convicted all the four accused in the Shakti Mill photojournalist gangrape case of August 22, 2013. The court has also convicted the four accused in another gangrape case of a telephone operator. The 23-year-old photojournalist was assaulted while she was on task at the abandoned factory. Another accused, who is a minor is tried in the juvenile court. A 362-page charge sheet was registered against four of the denounced in October. Noted author Khushwant Singh passes away at the age of 99

New Delhi, Mar 20 (ANI): Noted writer and journalist Khushwant Singh died at the age of 99 on Thursday. Singh was one of India's best-known writers and columnists. Born on February 2 in Hadali, now in Pakistan's Punjab, he was the founder-editor of Yojana and editor of The Illustrated Weekly of India, the National Herald and the Hindustan Times. He wrote classics like "Train to Pakistan", "I Shall Not Hear the Nightingale" and "Delhi". Singh will be cremated in Lodhi Auditorium, Delhi at 4 PM on Thursday. Mar 20, 2014

Australia says satellites spot objects possibly from Malaysian Plane

Sydney, March 20 (ANI): Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott announced that two objects have been spotted that could possibly be related to the missing Malaysia Airlines plane. Australian vessels have been scouring the southern Indian Ocean, searching for any trace of the missing Malaysia airlines aircraft. Finally, 13 days after the aircraft vanished, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said that a satellite has spotted something floating around this area. Eight flights operated by the airline on March 17 had cabin crew performing a dance sequence mid-air to celebrate Holi.
