Himachal Pradesh tragedy: 5 bodies found, 4 arrive in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 10 (ANI): The bodies of four of the 24 students swept away on Sunday in a sudden surge of water released from a dam in Himachal Pradesh, arrived in Hyderabad city airport on Monday night. TDP leader Prathipati Pulla Rao said that the party leaders have spoken to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and will provide moral support to the parents. Rao added that four bodies have arrived at the airport and the bodies will be handed over to the parents immediately. Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Md. Mahmood Ali called the incident unfortunate and added that the Telangana Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy and government officials along with a police team left for Himachal Pradesh to review the situation. China Foreign Minister meets Pranab, calls for greater cooperation

New Delhi, June 10 (ANI): Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday the last day of his visit urging for greater cooperation and making a new beginning with the newly formed Modi government of the world’s largest democracy. Wang also addressed a news conference in New Delhi to deliberate on the issues discussed in the meetings. During his address, Wang expressed China’s interest for investing in India especially in infrastructure and manufacturing sector. Prior to his meeting with Mukherjee, he also called upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the same day. The delegations of two countries, led by Wang and Modi, held diplomatic talks to discuss ways to make Indo-China bilateral relations stronger.
