Congress demands probe into bugging issue at Nitin Gadkari's residence

New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil demanded an immediate probe be conducted into the bugging issue at Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari's residence. Gadkari had denied reports of snooping devices found in at his residence, which raked up a controversy between the two parties. The report claimed that high power listening devices were accidentally found in Gadkari's bedroom. Addressing a news conference, Gohil said it was the right of a person to lead a private life and it was illegal for anyone to snoop or perform detective actions on a person without permission. Slamming Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi, Gohil said when Modi was the chief minister of Gujarat it was a regimen to snoop on politicians and other people. Jul 29, 2014
