BSE closes points 251.07 down on June 26

New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 251.07 points down to stand at 25,062.67. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 76.05 points down to stand at 7,493.20. Bosch and Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd. were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 7.74% and 4.83% along with Gujarat State Petronet Ltd. and Emami with an increase of 4.50% and 3.97% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include ONGC and Indian Oil Corporation with a decrease of 5.89% and 4.68% along with Petronet LNG and HPCL with a decrease of 4.34% and 4.03% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 20.03 points at 15,280.35 while the banking sector is down 197.99 points at 17,261.72 and the realty sector is down 57.44 points at 2,039.31. The makers of the film said they were worried that the negative reviews on social media would hamper the film's business. Producer Vashu Bhagnani also said the film has done exceptionally well despite the negative publicity and reviews by critics have not affected the film's performance at the box office. Varanasi, June 26 (ANI): Two young Indian engineering students have designed a jeans fitted with a walkie-talkie in an attempt to prevent rapes and other crimes against women. The jeans, the brainchild of Diksha Pathak and Anjali Srivastava, will alert the police or a guardian by a mere press of a button in case a woman senses any threat. Pathak and Srivastava, who hail from the temple town Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh where crimes against women have been rising, created the device in order to help women safeguard themselves if faced with an untoward situation.
