New Delhi, Aug 16 (ANI): Introduced in 1850, Indian railways are the lifeline of the country. It covers about 7,000 stations over a total route length of more than 39,000 miles. Since its inception, the sector has seen major changes that have ultimately added stars towards its path to expansion. The authority in the country intends to spend around one trillion dollar in infrastructure development as per the Vision 2020 document. The latest development is the rail link between Udhampur to Katra in northern state of Jammu. This rail link is ready to represent the expansion of railway tracks to terrain region.
