Dhaka, June 30 (ANI): Devout Hindus soaked in religious fervour thronged streets of Dhaka city in Bangladesh and celebrated the annual Hindu chariot festival or Rath Yatra. People, especially women, celebrated the nine-day-long festival, which commemorates a journey by Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra, in specially made chariots. A student, Sushmita Das, who was a part of the grand festivity said Lord Jagannath would return to his place after nine days. The festival is celebrated on the second day of Shukla Paksha.
