PM Modi visits Tokyo Elementary School, invites teachers to teach in India

Tokyo, Tokyo, Sep 01 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Japanese teachers to teach their language to the students in his country during his visit to premier Taimei Elementary School in Tokyo on Monday. Modi also stressed on building language ties between the two nations in a bid to prepare for 21st century while speaking in an interactive session at the 136-year-old school. Modi also tried to play a soprano recorder before the students at a music class. He also called for preparation of on-line Japanese language course to help Indian students. He also said that India wants to join in the research revolution of Japan as there is no end to research. Indian Air Force personnel arrested for leaking inside information to Pakistan

Pathankot, Sep 01 (ANI): Police arrested an Indian Air Force personnel in Pathankot city of Punjab for leaking inside information to Pakistan. Sunil Kumar was arrested at the Pathankot Air Force base for trying to sell India-related defense information to a Pakistani woman, Meena Raina. The cyber squad of the Pathankot air base monitored his movements via the internet with Raina and saved the conversations. After accumulating enough evidence against Kumar, Indian Air Force removed him from his post and handed him over to the police. Guwahati, Sep 01 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, who was in Guwahati to attend a meeting with the Chief Ministers of 8 Northeastern states, reviewed the security situation on Assam-Nagaland Border. He held talks with Assam and Nagaland Chief Ministers on the escalating border violence. Meanwhile, a curfew has been imposed in Golaghat following the clashes between the police and protestors. The Army also held a flag march in the violence hit areas to bring the situation under control. In addition to three companies of CRPF, 1,000 paramilitary personnel have been deployed and security pickets have been set up in the affected villages.
