His Eid release Kick opposite Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has collected a whopping Rs 83.83 crore in its opening weekend. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said the weekend collection of Kick was spectacular. He tweeted: #Kick has a HUMONGOUS Day 3. Collects 30.18 croreon Sunday, thus crossing 83 crore mark in its opening weekend. WOW! But the movie just missed bagging the much coveted 100 crore mark in opening weekend, a feat earlier achieved by his movie Ek Tha Tiger. While Ek Tha Tiger entered the Rs 100 crore club on its first weekend, Bodyguard earned Rs 88 crore. Kick has become the highest opening day grossing film of 2014. Aurangabad, July 29 (ANI): At least 12 pilgrims, five of them women, were killed and 22 others injured when a speeding container ran over them on the New Delhi-Kolkata National Highway in Bihar's Aurangabad district on Tuesday. The heavy vehicle lost control and ran over the devotees sleeping by the side of the road. After running over the victims, it hit a parked bus in which some other devotees were resting. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bhim Kumar, said pilgrims were returning from Deoghar after offering the holy water. Lucknow, July 29 (ANI): The state government-led by Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh agreed to demands of the family of the Mohanlalganj rape and murder victim and ordered a CBI probe in the same. Family of the woman began a fast unto death protest on Sunday demanding a CBI probe into the incident citing dissatisfaction with police report. The police had said that there were no traces of rape before murder and only one person was involved in the crime. SP leader Naresh Agarwal said they had written to CBI to conduct an inquiry.
