Kejriwal says BJP inciting riots in Delhi; politicos react

New Delhi, Nov 3 (ANI): The BJP on Monday (November 03) said that chief of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal should not be taken seriously over his tweet on recent communal violence in Delhi. Referring to recent communal tensions in New Delhi's Trilokpuri area, Kejriwal on Monday blamed the BJP of inciting riots in Delhi. The Congress too blamed the ruling BJP of invoking communal tension with the help of its party cadres and parent body Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to polarise votes. However, a leader of Aam Aadmi (Common Man) Party (AAP), Rahul Mehra said that BJP is running away from elections.

Forest rangers rescue Lion from a village well in Gujarat

Junagadh, Nov 3 (ANI): Struggling for almost an hour, forest rangers on Monday (November 03) rescued a Lion that was trapped in an open village well in Gujarat. The Lion fell into the well after it had strayed into Amarpur village in Junagadh district of Gujarat, in search of food. Forest rangers said the Lion will be kept under observation for a day and will be released in the wild life sanctuary. Instances of wild animals like Lions, leopards and tigers straying into residential areas are getting common in many parts of the country now. Depletion of habitat has also threatened the wild animals, forcing them to stray into human settlements - attacking people, poultry birds and livestock cattle - and often getting killed in return.

All parties want assembly to be dissolved, Delhi will go to polls: AAP after meeting LG

New Delhi, Nov 03 (ANI): AAP leader Manish Sisodia after meeting with Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung said that Delhi will go to polls soon. LG had called for an all party meet with three major political parties- BJP, Congress and AAP- and all had asked him to dissolve the current Assembly and go for fresh polls in the capital city. Sisodia also said that Jung will be submitting the report to Central Government by evening on Monday. Further he added that AAP is ready for elections and has requested LG to hold them in the ongoing election phase.

President emphasises on providing livelihood security to lower rungs of society

Mukherjee inaugurated a Summit on 'Livelihood Security: Realising the vision for 1.3 billion Indians' organised by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) in New Delhi. Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said that in times when a political party is not in power its leaders are required to put in more hard work but leaders who quit are weak at character. Congress expels GK Vasan

New Delhi, Nov 3 (ANI): Congress leader Ajay Kumar on Monday informed that GK Vasan has been expelled from the Congress officially, for going against the party line. Earlier in the day, Vasan had also informed that he has quit the party and is ready to launch his own new party. Vasan had thanked the Congress leadership for giving him and his cadres some important and responsible roles. He had also said that the cadres were not satisfied with the party's approach and wanted to follow a new political path, which is why he had decided to quit Congress and launch a new party.
