Rajouri, Sep 25 (ANI): Victims of the Kashmir floods said that they are still homeless, as many houses had collapsed during the worst natural disaster that had hit Jammu and Kashmir in a century. Hundreds of people have been killed and tens of thousands are homeless. Authorities say the cost of damage in Jammu and Kashmir may run into billions of dollars. Villagers of Rajouri district said they haven't still got any tents or alternate arrangements after their houses collapsed in the devastation. Mangalyaan sends first pictures of Mars

New Delhi, Sep 25 (ANI): Indian Mars orbiter spacecraft 'Mangalyaan' which began its rotation around Mars after its successful insertion into the orbit on Wednesday, has now sent the first pictures of the red planet. The Mars Orbiter Mission affectionately called "MOM" created history on Wednesday by making India the first country ever to have reached Mars' orbit successfully in its very first attempt. On Wednesday, the Union Cabinet also passed a unanimous resolution lauding the efforts of scientists and engineers of the Indian Space Research organisation (ISRO) for the success of Mars Orbiter Mission 'Mangalyaan'.
