Swaraj said that Nalanda University's glory is historic and it will attract students and teachers from all countries. She also expressed confidence that the University will be set up as a landmark among all South Asian countries that have been eagerly waited for the ancient learning centre to reopen. The victim student was molested by few male students who dragged her inside the boys’ hostel on August 28. Students further alleged that police authorities dragged out students and manhandled them. More than 30 students were arrested by the police while some of them were also injured.
