Reportedly, some students of Manipur attacked students of Bihar studying in National Institute of Technology (NIT) in the northeast over some dispute. Manjhi said he has requested Singh to ensure the safety of the students Bihar. In the aftermath of the fight, the Education Department of Manipur has issued an order asking authorities at NIT Manipur to take immediate necessary action to prevent recurrence of further unwanted fights among its students.
