Labourers rescued from under debris after bridge collapses in MP

Hoshangabad, Dec 04 (ANI): A bridge under construction collapsed in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh leaving labourers trapped under debris while they are rescued. As per reports, around 40 labourers were feared to be trapped under the debris of the bridge that was being built over the river Narmada. The injured had been rushed to a hospital nearby as rescue work continued at the site. Reportedly, the bridge was being built at a cost of 30 crore rupees. Dec 4, 2014

In a move to be self-reliant, the first of its kind agri hub nursery was inaugurated at the horticulture farm on Assam Agriculture University campus in Jorhat. It has been developed at a cost of Rs. 15 crores financed under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikash Yojana. The nursery will annually produce 48 lakhs seedlings of various vegetables and seasonal flowers.
