The star against Tamil Thalaivas in Friday's match, Pune's skipper Deepak Hooda scored three super raids and ended with 16 points for His team. On the other hand, Sagar Krishna scored six tackle points for UP Yoddha and Rishank Devadiga contributed nine tackle points.

Rohit Sharma struck a century as India beat Australia by seven wickets in the fifth and final One-Day International (ODI) at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground here on Sunday to end the five-match series on a winning note. India thus won the series 4-1. The victory also helped India regain the top spot in the ODI rankings, pushing South Africa to the second spot. Australia remain third. Chasing a modest target of 243 runs, India crossed the line with 43 balls still to go.

Telugu Titans scored an impressive 44-22 victory as they inflicted eighth consecutive defeat on Dabang Delhi in an inter zone clash of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) here on Thursday. It was Delhi's overall 13th defeat of their disappointing campaign. Rahul Chaudhri got all the plaudits as he ended up with 16 points for Telugu Titans.

Australia dominated with both bat and ball to defeat India by 21 runs in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Thursday. The hosts have already won the five-match series 3-1. Electing to bat, Australia produced a challenging total of 334/5 in their 50 overs thanks to a 231-run opening stand by David Warner and Aaron Finch. Warner top scored for the visitors with 124 runs off 119 deliveries, hitting 12 boundaries and four sixes along the way.

Australia beat India by 21 runs in 4th ODI

Till the last couple of minutes, Thalaivas didn't look like winning the match but Thakur scored three raid points in the last minute to lead his team to victory. Thakur ended with 13 points and was supported by Prapanjan who contributed nine points. Sachin scored 11 points for Gujarat. Gujarat are top of the table in Zone A with 61 points from 16 matches while Thalaivas are bottom of the table in Zone B with 28 points from 13 matches. The first few minutes of the match saw teams exchanging raid and tackle points. Prapanjan's super raid in the fourth minute gave the Thalaivas a 5-3 lead.

India rode on a strong batting performance to defeat Australia by five wickets in the third One-Day International (ODI) and clinch the five-match series at the Holkar Stadium here on Sunday. Chasing a target of 294 runs, India crossed the line in 47.5 overs to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series. With this win, India skipper Virat Kohli equalled predecessor Mahendra Singh Dhoni's record run of nine ODI wins on the trot.  Dhoni's winning streak as captain stretched from February 2008 to January 2009. Kohli's winning run started on July 26 this year. Openers Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane gave India a fine start with a partnership of 139 runs. Rohit scored 71 runs off 62 balls. The Mumbai batsman was in fine form, smashing the ball four times into the stands and six times to the ropes. This was his 33rd half-century in ODI cricket. Rahane hit nine boundaries while scoring 70 runs off 76 balls.  Later, Hardik Pandya produced a power-packed knock lower down the order to carry the hosts to the cusp of victory. The Baroda all-rounder top scored for the hosts with 78 runs off 72 deliveries, hitting five boundaries and four sixes along the way.

India skipper Virat Kohli equalled his previous incumbent Mahendra Singh Dhoni's run of nine consecutive wins after the series clinching five-wicket win over Australia in the third One-Day International (ODI) here on Sunday. India rode on a superb batting performance to register an unassailable 3-0 lead in the ongoing five-match series against the reigning world champions. After Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane gave the hosts a steady start, in-form all-rounder Hardik Pandya regaled the packed stands at the Holkar Stadium with some power-packed batting lower down the order.

U Mumba kept their play-offs hopes alive beating Dabang Delhi 30-28 in the opening game of the Delhi leg of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 5 at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex here on Friday. Shrikant Jadhav scored 10 points whereas Kashiling Adake chipped in with seven points for U Mumba, who are now third in Zone A with 44 points from 16 matches.  The hosts squandered their early nine-point lead in the first half and couldn't keep their composure in the last five minutes to languish at the bottom of the table in Zone A with 29 points from 13 matches.

Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav bagged a hat-trick as India rode a dominant bowling performance to restrict Australia to 202 and win the second One Day International (ODI) by 50 runs at the Eden Gardens here on Thursday. In three successive deliveries, Kuldeep (3/54) took the wickets of Mathew Wade, Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins in the 33rd over to become the second bowler in limited overs cricket to script a hat-trick at this venue and only the third Indian to record the rare feat in 50 overs cricket. The other Indians to get hat-tricks are Kapil Dev and Chetan Sharma, with Dev grabbing his treble at the Eden against Sri Lanka in 1991. Sharma bagged it in 1987. Besides Kuldeep, Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/9), Yuzvendra Chahal (2/34) and all-rounder Hardik Pandya (2/56) starred with the ball for the hosts as Steve Smith (59) and Marcus Stoinis (62 not out) scored half-centuries for the tourists.
