In what was a see-saw battle from start to finish, Bengaluru threw away their halftime lead of 18-12 as Delhi rode their captain Meraj Sheykh's superlative show to register their fourth win in the tournament in nine games. Delhi are now on 24 points. Bengaluru remained fourth with 23 points from 11 outings.

Virat Kohli led from the front with some explosive batting as India thrashed Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the one-off Twenty20 International at the R. Premadasa Stadium here on Wednesday. Kohli plundered 82 runs off just 54 deliveries, smashing seven boundaries and a six as the visitors chased down the 171-run target with four balls and seven wickets to spare. Manish Pandey gave Kohli excellent support from the other end. The right-hander from Karnataka brought up his maiden half-century in T20Is and remained unbeaten on 51 with four boundaries and a six studding his 36-ball innings. The duo put together 119 runs between them off 77 deliveries after the early departure of Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul.

Virat Kohli led the way with a century as India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the fifth and final One-Day International (ODI) at the R.Premadasa Stadium here on Sunday evening. Chasing a target of 239 runs, India crossed the line with 21 balls to spare. Kohli remained unbeaten on 110 runs off 116 balls, smashing nine boundaries along the way. He was involved in a 108-run partnership with Kedar Jadhav, who scored 63 runs off 73 balls before being caught behind off Wanidu Hasaranga's bowling a couple of balls before the end. This was the 30th century of Kohli's ODI career.

Bengal were trailing by eight points with eight minutes remaining in the second half and the score reading 25-34. But they made a superb turnaround from there with Maninder Singh (13 points), Jan Kun Lee (6 points), Vinod Kumar (5 points), Ran Singh (4 points) and substitute Bhupender Singh (4 points) performing brilliantly to turn the tables on their rivals.

Disciplined bowling from Jasprit Bumrah, Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav helped India defeat Sri Lanka by 168 runs at R. Premadasa Stadium here on Friday to go 4-0 up in their five-match One-Day International (ODI) cricket series. Bumrah, Pandya and Yadav picked up two wickets each. The hosts lost wickets at regular intervals to be bundled out for 207 runs in 42.4 overs in reply to the visitors' 375 runs. Chasing a mammoth target of 376 runs, the hosts were off to a horrible start and were reduced to 68/4 in 16 overs. Angelo Mathews (70) played a vital knock along with Milinda Siriwardana (39) to put up a 73-run stand before the latter was removed by Pandya.

Bangladesh scripted history as the hosts shocked Australia by 20 runs on the fourth day of the first Test match at the Shere Bangla National Stadium here on Wednesday. This was the first Test victory against Australia for the hosts and with this result Bangladesh have now taken a 1-0 lead in the two match series. From 158 for 2, Australia slipped to 199 for 8. Lower-order batsmen Pat Cummins (33 not out) and Nathan Lyon (12) then tried to stabilise the innings but Taijul Islam removed Lyon to seal the issue.
