Demand for Bangladesh caretaker govt intensifies pre general elections

Dhaka, Oct 29 (ANI): Former Bangladesh Inspector General Mohammad Khuda Baksh hoped for a discussion between the leading political parties over the boiling issue of the demand for a caretaker government, as tensions mounted ahead of the general elections.The clash of ideologies could plunge Bangladesh into a cycle of violence. Baksh, who is also the former international consultant United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Afghanistan said that the issue of caretaker government could be resolved through dialogue.
