New Delhi, Dec 05 (ANI): The Indian authorities on Friday sent packaged drinking water to Maldives as it faces massive scarcity of drinking water. Huge packets of water bottles are being sent in five C17 and IL17 transport aircrafts of the Indian Air Force to Maldives' capital Male. Meanwhile, PRO of the Indian Air Force, Sandeep Mehta said that it is an international cricis. He added that Indian Navy is also pressed into service of carrying water for Maldives. Navy torpedo recovery vessel sinks off Visakhapatnam harbour, rescue operation underway

Visakhapatnam, Nov 07 (ANI): Search and rescue operations are underway as a naval vessel sank outside the Visakhapatnam harbour. One navy personnel was killed and four went missing, while 23 personnel were rescued safely after the Torpedo Recovery Vessel (TRV) A-72 sank on Thursday. The vessel had 28 navy personnel on board. Naval ships and aircrafts including P8I, Dorniers, and Seaking 42 C with night vision capabilities have been deployed for the search and rescue operation. IAF fighter jet crashes into hamlet near Pune during training session

Pune, Oct 15 (ANI): An Indian Air Force fighter jet crashed at Wagholi village, 20 kilometres from Pune city airfield in Maharashtra, during a training session. The Sukhoi-30MK1 jet, which is one of the main aircrafts in the Indian Air Force, was introduced in the Air Force fleet in 1997 and has been considered safe. Both pilots ejected safely and no loss or injury to life has been reported. Locals heard a loud noise and saw the plane fall out of the sky. Police and Air Force teams rushed to the spot after they were informed of the crash. India has 200 Sukhois in its fleet and 70 more jets have been ordered from the Russian manufacturer.
