Following the same, Chief Electoral Officer Umesh Sinha on Saturday said that appropriate steps are being taken in the case and investigation is on, and that the decision on his candidature will be taken by Congress. First modern sports stadium under construction in Jorhat

Jorhat, March 29 (ANI): One of the oldest sports fields of Assam, which is run by Jorhat District Sport Association, will be soon transformed into an international standard stadium. The sports complex is being constructed at a cost of over 6 crore. While the gallery is being sponsored by the Non Lapsable Central Pool of Resource (NLCPR) under the DoNER Ministry, the United Fund of Jorhat District Administration is funding the construction of the grounds and other facilities. The stadium will have a sitting capacity of 25,000 people. The project began in 2008-2009 and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Jind, March 29 (ANI): AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal has urged his supporters not to retaliate after an unidentified man on Friday attacked him during his poll campaign, as he called it a political conspiracy. The attacker climbed on to the open vehicle in which Kejriwal was travelling during the road show in Bhiwani district of Haryana and tried to hit him near his neck. Later, Kejriwal's supporters turned violent and the attacker was beaten up by them. While addressing his supporters in Jind district during a road show, Kejriwal blamed the political parties for hatching a conspiracy against him.
