Congress moves EC against Amit Shah's 'communal remark' over Muzaffarnagar riots

New Delhi, April 05 (ANI): After BJP leader Amit Shah called for revenge in Muzaffarnagar over the riots that took place in the district, Congress legal cell moved Election Commission on Saturday. AICC legal cell Secretary KC Mittal said that giving hateful and provocative speeches in Jaat dominated, sensitive area was completely wrong and that this will be spreading hatred among people. Mittal said that not only criminal cases should be filed against BJP and Shah but EC should take a stern action against BJP as a political party for violating the model code of conduct.

Mouthwash overuse may lead to mouth and throat cancer

New Delhi, April 5 (ANI): A new study has revealed that using mouthwash more than three times a day increases the risk of mouth and throat cancer. The study found that poor oral health and failure to have regular dental checks increased the risk of mouth and throat cancer. Earlier studies have found that found some mouthwashes were more dangerous than wine or beer because they contained higher concentrations of alcohol, as high as 26 per cent proof.

CPI (M) drained coffers of WB govt: Mamata Banerjee

Raniganj, April 05 (ANI): In a bid to garner votes ahead of general elections, Trinamool Congress (TMC) President Mamata Banerjee, used 'star appeal' as Bollywood Actor Mithun Chakraborty, shared stage with her during a massive rally in Raniganj city of West Bengal. Chakraborty, who was recently elected as TMC leader to the upper house of the parliament, added spark to the rally. Taking a dig at CPI (M), Banerjee said the communist party drained coffers of the state government. Banerjee also accused the central government for not granting funds under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Generation Scheme, which ensures 100 days work for the unemployed rural people. India to launch more satellites to set up regional navigational systems

Sriharikota, April 05 (ANI): After successful launch of satellite from south-eastern coast in Bay of Bengal to boost navigational capabilities, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief, K Radhakrishnan, said that two more such satellites will be launched. Addressing a news conference at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, Radhakrishnan said the launch will depend on weather conditions. He also said that three more navigational satellites would be launched in early 2015 and India would have all navigational satellite systems.

LS Polls: Mayawati urges Muslims to vote for BSP

Muzaffarnagar, April 04 (ANI): BSP Chief Mayawati, on Friday urged Muslims to vote en-masse for the party candidates during parliamentary polls to defeat main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh. The BSP chief urged them not to get swayed by promises of Congress party or Samajwadi Party (SP).
