New Delhi, July 10 (ANI): Continuing to present the general budget 2014-2015, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced revised direct and indirect taxes along with custom duties for various items. While, tobacco, and alcohol taxes are increased citing health concerns, taxes on other essential goods are reduced to cater to basic necessities of common man. Jaitley proposes new AIIMS and urban development schemes in General Budget Part - 2

New Delhi, July 10 (ANI): Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday while presenting the General Budget in Parliament proposed to bring up new AIIMS in several areas. He added that new urban development schemes would also be set up and a particular amount has been kept aside for that. Jaitley also proposed to give a heavy amount for education in ‘madrasahs’.
