DSP Zia-ul-Haq murder case: Court rejects CBIs closure report

Lucknow, July 08 (ANI): A special court on Tuesday rejected the closure report of the Central Bureau of Investigation in Kunda Deputy SP Zia-ul-Haq's murder case in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. New Delhi, July 8 (ANI): The Congress party stood strong over leader of opposition post in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The Congress in an effort to strengthen its claim is planning to send the letter to Speaker Sumitra Mahajan even as it is circulating a memorandum articulating its case for the post among its pre-poll allies. Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said that according to law his party deserves the post as it has the appropriate numbers. Meanwhile, BJD leader Jay Panda said the discretion of granting the post lies in hands of the Speaker of the house. However, CPI leader, D Raja said debate over the post of leader of opposition should not be dragged over technicalities in the parliament.
