War of words between Imran Khan and Altaf Hussain's MQM intensifies

Islamabad/Karachi, Feb 11 (ANI): Political temperatures in Pakistan continue to rise as the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) held a rally in Karachi to express solidarity with party chief Altaf Hussain after a spate of statements made against him by cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan. The war of words started between the two parties after the release of a Joint Interrogation Team (JIT) report implicating an MQM worker in a Karachi factory blaze. It was the worst incident of fire in Pakistan's history in which more than 250 workers trapped inside the factory were burnt to death. The MQM has termed the report as baseless and biased, but a spokeswoman of Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party held a press conference in Islamabad in which she asked the government to take action against Hussain and his party. The Society for Adoption, Knowledge, Awareness and Resource (Sakar) houses 39 other children with congenital, mental or physical deformities. Sandhya's new mother, Andrea Knepper, who already has two biological children, (two sons - 11 and 9 years old), said it was her wish to adopt a girl from India as her grandfather belonged to the country.
