Spain fans finally celebrated a 3-0 win against Australia in 2014 FIFA world Cup

Brazil, June 24 (ANI): Spain fans were finally able to celebrate a win in Brazil after their side ended an embarrassing campaign with a 3-0 win over Australia who left the World Cup winless. The win was more a matter of pride for the defending world champions who had no chance of advancing to the final 16 after losing their first two matches of the tournament. Even after their 3-0 victory over a battling but already-eliminated Australia salvaged some dignity, the departing champions always knew they'd be packing their bags no matter what the outcome. Most fans seemed to enjoy the atmosphere of being part of a World Cup no matter how poorly the team may have performed on the pitch. Nonetheless, Australia fan Oscar Clarke said the Aussies held up pretty well considering they are ranked 62nd in the world, 61 places behind Spain who were number one in the FIFA rankings at the start of the tournament.
