Indian Olympic Association president and Rajya Sabha MP PT Usha lost her husband, Vengalil Sreenivasan, who passed away in the early hours of Friday. A native of Ponnani, the 63-year-old collapsed at his residence in Perumalpuram, Thikkodi, around 12.30 am. He was rushed to a private hospital in Perumalpuram, where doctors declared him dead.
