AAP Leader Rakhi Birla inspects night shelters

New Delhi, Jan 04 (ANI): Delhi's new Women and Child Social Welfare Minister, Rakhi Birla, one of the youngest cabinet ministers, took a surprise inspection of the night shelters in the city to check the plight of the shivering poor. During the inspections, officials have been summoned to explain the situation and offer solutions. Meanwhile, night shelter dweller, Dinesh, complained of poor facilities and lack of hygiene and cleanliness.

Young voters look for impartiality in candidates as polls near in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Jan 04 (ANI): Rejecting calls for boycotting the upcoming polls, Bangladesh's youth said that they would vote for representatives, who believe in equality and are against war criminals. Elections will be held from January 05. Undeterred by the violence that gripped the country since the announcement of the polls date, new voters said that they would step out of their houses to cast their franchise for the representatives, who would address the problems of common people. Another student, Apu Placid Modhu, said that he would vote for the party who would act against the war criminals.

AAP to release first list of LS candidates within two weeks

New night shelters for homeless soon: Manish Sisodia

New Delhi, Jan 04 (ANI): Delhi's Urban Development minister Manish Sisodia said that state's homeless spending nights in chilling winter would be soon shifted to shelter homes as its construction is nearing completion.
