Senior Congress leader from Rajasthan Sis Ram Ola passes away

New Delhi, Dec 15 (ANI): Senior Congress leader from Rajasthan and Union Minister for Labour and Employment Sis Ram Ola passed away after a brief illness at a private hospital at Gurgaon on early Sunday morning. Indian diplomat Devyani eligible for diplomatic immunity, claims lawyer

Mumbai, Dec 15 (ANI): Despite the US state Department saying that she does not have a diplomatic immunity stating that the Vienna convention on consular relations does not cover personal actions of the diplomats, lawyer of India's deputy consul Devyani Khobragade has claimed that his client does enjoy diplomatic immunity. Devyani has been accused of lying on the visa application for an Indian national who worked for her for less than four dollars an hour, violating US norms.

Homosexuality is 'unnatural', BJP won't support it: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, Dec 15 (ANI): Even as the country debates section 377 with majority against the Supreme Court's ruling that criminalizes gay sex in India, BJP President Rajnath Singh has spoken for the first time in support of the ruling. In an interview to a popular daily, Rajnath said, "We will state (at an all-party meeting if it is called) that we support Section 377 because we believe that homosexuality is an unnatural act and cannot be supported."

Bangladesh pays homage to victims of 1971 liberation war

Dhaka, Dec 15 (ANI): Bangladesh paid homage to the victims including the deceased intellectuals who were killed by the Pakistani forces and their collaborators during the 1971 liberation war.
