She further accused the then ruling Congress Party in 1984 of abetting and participating in the riots, in which thousands of Sikhs were killed. Shimla, Jan 28 (ANI): A major fire engulfed 110-year old historic Gorton Castle building in Shimla on Tuesday, causing extensive damage. The heritage building housed the office of the Accountant General and contained important documents and government records. Teams of the police and Army were also called on to assist fire fighters in dousing the fire.
