Srinagar, Dec 26 (ANI): Breaking away from the conventional norms of society, Kashmir’s youth participated in a two day rock band competition “Battle of the Bands” held at an indoor stadium of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir recently. Organizer of the competition Kishore Prasad said that the genre of rock is very popular in Kashmir and therefore, a platform is needed to showcase it. An excited participant Qamar Ahmad wished for more popularity of rock genre. The participants pressed upon more of such competitions so that they get maximum exposure. Dec 26, 2013
