Maoists hamper development work in Latehar

Latehar, Feb 08 (ANI): Recently, the Maoists attacked a construction site in Bariatu area of Jharkhand’s Latehar district. The armed guerillas not only opened fire and threatened the workers but also burnt down their equipment used for road construction. Road construction work has come to a halt as the incident has created a fear psychosis among the workers. The case has been reported at the Bariatu police station and police is investigating the matter. It has claimed to have identified a few Maoists.
