New Delhi, July 3 (ANI): Following the Gopal Subramanium controversy, Congress party accused the Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party of breaching constitutional norms by usurping the right to select or reject the judges of the apex court. Congress Spokesperson, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, said the government action against Subramanium smacks of pettiness. In a letter sent to the Chief Justice of India, Subramaniam had withdrawn his nomination for the candidature of apex court. Addressing a conference of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Ladies Organisation in New Delhi, Sandberg stressed that Facebook takes privacy and security issues seriously as people share on the social networking site. In 2012, Facebook manipulated the timeline of over six lakh users for nearly a week, showing only positive status for one set of users while showing negative updates for the other set. New Delhi, July 03 (ANI): The Supreme Court has said that women were increasingly using the anti-dowry law to harass in-laws and restrained police from automatically arresting the husband and his relatives on mere lodging of a complaint under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The apex court said the attitude to arrest first and then proceed with the rest is "despicable" which must be curbed and directed all state governments to ensure that police do not resort to arresting in all offences punishable up to seven- year jail term including dowry harassment cases. Trial run for high speed Delhi-Agra train begins

New Delhi, July 03 (ANI): With an aim to ensure high-speed connectivity between the two cities of Agra and New Delhi, the trial run of the semi-high speed train, which runs at a speed of 160 kmph was conducted on Thursday. The train will cover 200km between the two cities in 90 minutes. It would comprise 10 coaches and one locomotive. At present, Bhopal Shatabdi Express is the fastest train en route, which covers the distance in 2 hours. The semi- high speed service would tentatively be launched by November.
